Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's boxing match.
Former two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

As both boxers engaged in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly happening.
